    Need help with this mdw

I am having trouble unlocking this mdw that my company has, I've been tasked to make our database work again, but alas, I failed miserably.

Let me explain first though, we r having here a database that some former employee made, for reasons I do not know and care he left, I took his place, but unfortunately he locked the database that the whole company uses, I've tried anything from Passview to Password retrievers, nothing, the mdw says that has "no owner" (that cant be right, since its locked, it must be owned by someone, right?), I tried to open it from access, and again no privileges to read etc, am really getting concerned, this is day 3, that no one here works, so u can understand "all eyes on me". I really need help! Lastly, this is not my database (if it was, I would knew the danm psw), its property of the company am currently working, I ve made double backups though so am ready to try anything u guys suggest.

If no password recovery tools like this one http://www.accesspasswordrecoverytool.com/ succeed, you are royally you know what.

Is the project a split design? Can a new Access project link to or import the tables? Data recovery might be better than nothing and then build a whole new frontend.
How to attach file: http://www.accessforums.net/showthread.php?t=70301 To provide db: copy, remove confidential data, run compact & repair, zip w/Windows Compression.
