Date Entry in one format display in another

    Hello folks,

My system is Access 2007 / Windows XP

I'm a musican with many years of experience of IT and a reasonable knowledge of Access.

I'm wanting to create a database to handle venue details and bookings. I have most of it worked out but this is foxing me. Help would be appreciated.

Into a table called Venuedetails I can enter a date though a form
the date is the UK date format eg 20/01/2012.

For various reasons I want to use another form to display the venue details and the date as a day eg Friday.

I'm sure it is straight forward but I can't find out how.

    Any assistance would be appreciated.

    Thanks

    Mike

You can use the Format() function to display the day.
