    Access crashes when editing VBA

I can start Access and VBA module without problems.
But when I edit VBA (first keystroke) Access VBA plugin freezes and crashes.

Problem is on all databases using VBA
If I log on as a other user, problem isn't there.
    I use Win7 64bit, Access 2010 32bit
    I use .mdb format only
    I've tried access.exe mydatabase.mdb /decompile

I would log on as other user, rename c:\users\myprofile and thus force it to create a new profile for me. But Windows 7 just creates a temporary profile as it can't find the old one...

I would prefer not to delete my profile through control panel, as I would like to be able to undo the change

EDIT: Actually, this might not be an VBA issue - I found out that I have no problems editing VBA code that has no forms (GUI), so the problem just might be regarding Forms and not VBA?

Reinstall Access, decompile your database. More info is at http://peterssoftware.com/t_fixerr.htm

    I've allready tried /decompile

Will reinstall make any difference when the problem seems to relate to my user profile?
I just tried to run a repair on my Office installation - no difference

In a unrelated task i just tried to create a spreadsheet from Internet Explorer using VBA.
Excel started up, but freezes when it tries to fill in fields.

    Perhaps userprofile reset is necessary?

It appeared that I couldn't print from Outlook either... This made me remember that I installed a new printer 2 months ago... I tried to uninstall the printer driver and disconnect the printer... and everything is now working just fine again...

Funny how printer driver issues shows after two months, and symptoms show in VBA coding...

This thread is old but I am currently having the same exact problem: VBA crashes when modified (first keystroke), decompiling did not work, problem on editing VBA codes in forms, etc.

May I know if you or anyone has found a solution for this problem?
