    Invalid argument

    Hi,

    I've a question.
Every month I import a large cv file into a database. No problem at all; go's well every time.
But, a week ago I installed the tool on an other computer and now, when the user want to import the same csv file, he get's a message which say "Invalid argument". I've tried to change the country settings because the Access F1 refers to that. However, this seems to be not the solution to solve it. What could it be else then country settings? Any help would be appreciated.

    Best regards,
    Willem

Is the project an mdb, not an mde executable? You will need to do some debugging. Review the link at bottom of my first post for tutorial. We can't help without code to analyse.

I"ve repaired and compressed the database (from the access menu) and it seems to be working now. However, I'm affraid I've to do that every month.
I wonder what can happen into the DB (mdb) when importing a large csv file that makes repair and compress necessary?

    regards, Willem
