Thanks for the links. Sorry for the delay, I have out of my office for some days.
How do I import the files (.bas, .frm, .vbp, .vbw) in the zip attachment to the first link into an Access database ???
There is no attachment.
Those are VB files? I don't know if VB objects can be imported into Access. This software might do that http://www.download32.com/access-vb-...-software.html

ok so I have tried to create a module and call the first function in the module in the immediate window, but nothing happens.
Could you please be so kind to assemble a .mdb for testing (just an empty form with a listbox calling the function) ?
Thanks a ton!
Post code or attach your project for analysis. Is this related to your initial question? Your second question probably should have been another thread.

June7, sorry for the delay.
Yes, I'm still on my initial question : how can I get a list of computer names in my LAN domain/workgroup placed within a combobox ?
I have no specific project yet. I have just attempted to import the module at http://www.developerfusion.com/code/...ork-computers/ into an empty .mdb and tried to call the function via a button on a form. Nothing happened.
Could you please be so kind to assemble a .mdb with just that module, a form and a combobox to let all them work ? Thx a ton!
I have no experience in this particular requirement and not interested in taking time to build project. I would have to do just what you are doing, reasearch and interpret the links I posted and attempt code. If you want to post your project for analysis I am willing to look at your effort.
