What's Best Practice for Storing Credit Card Numbers?

What is best practice for storing credit card information in an Access 2010 database?

I am setting up a database to track an iPad loan program. Basically, we loan an iPad for 90 days and capture a credit card number to hold against loss or damage.

    Thanks,

    Jason

depends. how many people have ability to view the data inappropriately.... similar to if the data were on paper...in a file cabinet, in a vault, in a locked office, etc etc etc.....depends on how you anticipate the bad guys to be hacking you.
