    Installing 2010 Runtime Developer Application

I've installed both the AccessRuntime and the Service Pack 1. They both seemed to install without any errors, but I can't determine how to use it. Searching Google, I read a posting where once the DB is opened, selecting File, Save & Publish, I should see an option named Package & Distribute, with Package solution available below. I don't have the option of Package & Distribute. Thanks for your assistance! My machine is Windows 7 Pro 64bit

Thanks. I found an article through a Google search. Using the original Office CD, I had to install the add-in. Once I did that, the option of Package Solution appeared under Save & Publish.

I don't know why Microsoft makes things so complicated! Here is what you do:

    1. Install Microsoft Access 2010 Run-time if you haven't already.
    2. Install the Microsoft Access 2010 Run-time Service Pack 1 if you haven't already.
    3. Go to Control Panel and click on Programs
    4. Click Programs and Features
    5. Find Microsoft Access 2010 and right click it
    6. Left click Change
    7. Click the Add or Remove Features button and click Continue
    8. You will see a tree of installed features, find Microsoft Access click it then click the minus sign under Add-Ins
    9. Click the drop-down arrow for Package Wizard and Select Run from my computer
    10. Click continue and then restart Windows

I'm not sure if you will be prompted for your MS Office CD, I wasn't.

That's It! You will now see Package Solution under Save and Publish.
