ungroup controls automaticall grouped by the Access Wizard

In the recent versions of Access, the form wizard may automaticlly group a control (check box, text box...) with a label
Sometimes I may want the textbox..., but not the label, but I can't seem to find a way to "un-group" them; consequently, when I delete either of them, I delete both of them.

Is there a way to ungroup this kind of association. (I've tried right clicking, cntrl + shift, cntrl + alt, alt + shift, alt + cntrl... and every other combination... Once in a while I get it, but that is usually an accident)\

Is there a way to turn this feature OFF?

I'm not sure if there's a way to stop the wizard from doing it. One way to disassociate them is to highlight the control(s), right click and select Layout/Remove.
