    Access 2007 - Windows 7 64bit - VBA 6.5 (Crashing)

    Hello,

I'm attempting to write vba for a database for college, the problem is I have to use Access 2007 on my Windows 7 machine and it does not function correctly. I did have Access 2010 installed on my PC before installing Access 2007 I am not sure whether or not this has corrupted dll locations.

    Problem One

The first problem is when adding a form button or attempting to use the control wizards results in the following popup:

    What I have tried
    a) Registering the Accwiz.dll http://support.microsoft.com/kb/303769
    b) And Registering the Msado15.dll And Dao360.dll dll's http://support.microsoft.com/?id=833220
    c) Reinstalling Access 2007
    d) Removing nearly everything from my system just to get this to work.
    e) Disabling anti-virus.

    But no Success....

    [B]Problem Two[B]

When I'm using the VBA editor to try and assign variables it just crashes and I can not do any coding whatsoever.

    Results In

    What I have tried

    a) Disabling "Auto List Members" in Tools->Options

Which I thought would make me able to code my access project atleast but unfortunely not, when I type for example

    Code:
    control.visible = true
    I get the error again.

I would love to provide more information if I knew what to provide. Any help would be awesome.

If it helps, I run both ac2007 and ac2010 on Win7 64 bit without any problems other than the coffee break.

Please reply to this thread with any new information or opinions.
