    Help - Joining Tables..

I am pretty new to access and I am trying to create a table for my Electricity readings for various Pumping Stations.

I am attaching the access file and the exel file.

Could someone help me create a form through which I can start entering the data !!!

    thank you.

I am confused. You say you want to create an input form. Your thread title says joining tables. you have one table populated and one not populated. Let's start with a clear understanding of what are you trying to do. Please explain clearly what you want to do. There are to many conflicts here. Also, where does the excel sheet come into what you want to do. I flunked my mind reading class in college.

    explanation...

Well, in the Pumping Stations Table - I have given the list of pumping Stations available in a particular location.

In the second table, I have defined the various readings that will be taken from the Pumping Stations.

Now, I want to add the data through a form.

When, I select say Pumping Station 2 - it should automatically get the values from the table for the Meter, Meter Rent and Meter Factor and allow me to input the other values.

    thank you.

I would start by employing the form creation wizard. Use the table you set up and have the wizard create your form. Then with the form open in design view, re arrange the controls as you want them.

As to the population of the information about the station, look at the combo box videos on this web page. Once you get stuck on a particular issue, post back with your problem.
