I run an amateur mens soccer team and I'm looking to build my own database to manage players, staff and fans. I would like to be able to include ticket and merchandise sales on the fans side with the ability to process purchases through our website. With regards to the players I want to track statistics, and link their individual record in the DB to documents such as a player registration forms or photos. Possibly even import their information to documents. On the staff side of things I need to be able to track sales information for ticket sales, advert sales, or sponsorships attained.
Q#1 Can Access be integrated as a backend to collect data via the clubs website (tickets, merchandise sales, Or to allow a user of the website to submit a request to tryout for the team)?
Q#2 Would I be better off developing three different databases? Players, Staff, Sales (fans)
Q#3 If this is more complex...anyone want to be a developer?
We are a small sponsor driven team that is why I need to do this rather than purchasing software.
Thanks in advance for advice and/or suggestions
