    restricting access until logged in

    Hi,
I have designed a log in form and it works well, the problem is that when the db starts up with the login page the navigation bar and all the controls are still available to select.(therefore someone could just go in and change the code or look at any form or table they want). How can i limit any access to the db until logged in.
    Thanks

Can set project properties that disable the ribbon, QAT, and shortcut menus. Click File>AccessOptions>CurrentDatabase>make choices.

Holding shift key when project opens will override those settings.

Here is an article about more advanced methods to secure Access file http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/ac...010341741.aspx
To provide db: Make copy, remove confidential data, run compact & repair, zip if large - 2mb allowed, attach to post. Attachment Manager is below the Advanced post editor window.
