Question Problem with encrypting splitted database

Hello to everybody
I had a passwiord protected database and split it by developers kit for two. Now I need to use password to access the database file with forms reports and macros, but the file with tables is not encrypted.
I tried to encrypt it with password, but after that the main databse can not open it.

How can I protect both part of splitted database so, that it works after entering into main DB?

Default

Restart.
Remove the password from the database(db1) and create a new one(db2). Open the new one(db2) and Import all tables from the previous one(db1). Delete all tables from the previous one(db1). Open db2 and enter a password. Open db1 and link all tables from db2. You will be asked to enter a password. When you're done enter a password for db1.
