Default Automate Compact and Repair process

Hi,

I have a couple of databases (situated remotely on other system) for which I perform compact and repiar process manually everyday.

The process which i follow is

Take the backup of database > Open the database and Change the Security settings (user and group permission) to Open Exclusive > Close the database so that the settings get updated > Open the databse again > Refresh links using Link Manager > perform Compact and Repair > Revert back the Security settings to previous > Close the database.

Since it takes a lot of time to perform the work and one has to be present anyhow to do it, can this process be somehow automated?

Any clue in the direction would really help us out.

Thanks.
