I have a form letter that has details. The page footer has a text box that has standard info . After the last detail has printed there is a gap between it and the start of the standard info in the page footer.
I would lke to move the standard info uip closer to the last detail printed. How is this done. I have seen info in this forum that uses the me.top. From what I can determine this is set based on a distance from the top of the form. Is there a method that will allow the footer top to be set by the bottom of the detail section. The detail section can grow so the distance from the top changes. Any asistance is appreciated. |

Instead of using a page footer, have you tried using a report footer? The report footer will be slotted in after the last detail record or after the last section footer (if you have any section footers, that is).

MatthewsPatrick,
That worked Thank you very much. I was trying to use MoveLayout . This is suppose to make the page footer move up to the next prionting line. Has anyone got an example on how to use this property. Thanks in advance. RHall |

It interacts with several other runtime properties. Chapter 9 of Litwin et al.'s Access Desktop Developer's Handbook has several pages on how to use it. |
