Hope I posted in correct subforum:

I have a table called shop title and I would like to create a query and then a form that would allow me to have the field in the query/form filled in automatically after I fill in another field.

the employee table has employee name for one field and shop title in another. (manager, assistant manager, tech, etc) (these are shop titles)

when i get to the form I would like to enter the field for employee and choose employee via drop down selection. Once I chose the name, the shop title field in the form will automatically be filled with the correct shop title from the employee table. I will not allow this field to be accessed.

How do I get this to happen correcty?
