Setting default Unicode Compression when import from Excel

I have noticed that when I import from an Excel spreadsheet, text fields are set to Unicode Compression = No

Is there a way I can make imported text fields set to Unicode Compression = Yes by default i.e. without having to change them one-by-one after the import process?

I'm using Access 2003 SP 2
