Read through FAQs, don't see answers. Some sites limit cumulative size of attachments. Is there a limit I need to be concerned about here? Can uploaded files be deleted, not just unattached from post, but completely removed?
To provide db: Make copy, remove confidential data, run compact & repair, zip if large - 2mb allowed, attach to post. Attachment Manager is below the Advanced post editor window.

The old version listed the allowed file types and sized on the upload window; in the new version, you can find the same info by clicking the question mark at the top right corner.

Currently, the attachments can be deleted by uploaders without time limit.

Most posters seem to leave their attachment with the post forever. I was hitting a limit on other forums so made it a practice to delete attachment after OP responded and I leave an EDIT comment of that action.

I know I can remove attachment from post but I still see that file in the Attachment Manager.

That's bad. Your attachment should be more important than the OP's to the thread for future reference. There is no limit on this forum.

Yes, I can't figure out how to completely delete file from attachment manager. But if storage limit is not an issue, won't worry over it.

No, storage is not a problem at all.

I don't see any options to delete the files physically from the server either, but there is a message in attachment manager:
Uploads not utilized within one hour will be deleted

Yes, I noticed but I guess once a file has been used, even if later removed from post, it will stay. Because none of my files have gone away.
