Default Displaying a picture on a form

I have a table that has a field that contains the actual windows path to where picture file is located on the hard drive. example "C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\My Documents\My Pictures\Juniper Pics\Juniperus chinensis Armstrongii". How do I create a box on a form and display this picture in it?

Default Adding to my post:

I want to display the picture out on the hard drive that corresponds to the other data in that record.

So for example in my table I have a field called Botanical name and another field called Photo (that stores the path (of the picture file) to the windows file name)

On my form I have a field called Botaical name and it is displaying the name "Acer palmatum". I want the picture for acer palmatum to display in a box on the form. Can these picture files be Jpeg format?

Default Image on a form

This subject caught my eye, as my wife has decided I should develop a database to keep track of all her Hallmark Christmas ornaments, and the database should show an image of the ornament the record is for.

In my search for help on this subject I stumbled across an article which seem to be pretty detailed and well written. Have not gone through it yet, but will once I have time. The link to this site is:

www.jegsworks.com/Lessons/databases/formsreports/step-recordings.htm

Hope this helps, and let me know if the links does not work, as it probably means I typed it in wrong.

Okay I just went to the sight, copied the URL and pasted it below

Jan's Access Forms & Reports: Record Images - Bound Object Frame

Let me know if it works.
