I am currentky creating a database to track manpower tasking. Each task has a unique number to identify it however, to stop the numbers getting too high the numbers start again at 1 at the end of each financial year.
Is there any way of setting autonumber so it starts at 1 at the beggining of each financial year? |

Not sure what you are using the autonumber field for, but I see that there is plenty of information on "resetting autonumber" on Google. One link I came across...
