Default (Another) There was an error executing the command

Ok.. I looked at another post on this site about this error, but nothing ever came of it. So anyway.. here I go.

We have a database that was created in Access 2000. All was fine until we upgraded to office 2k3. Now, when opening the database and trying to run any of the reports I get a "There was an error executing the command" error. Click ok, nothing happens. It just goes back to the screen where we tried to run the report from. This happens on a few computers (all of which are using office 2k3). I found the article on the MS support site about compacting the database, but that didn't help. I've uninstalled Office 2k3 and reinstalled office 2000, but it keeps doing the same thing now. Some of the computers are running windows 2000, some are running XP SP2.

Anyone got any ideas? I've been banging my head on this one for about a week.
